Tribalco Renews CMMI Level 2 Rating for Services


Tribalco, LLC, a global provider of mission-critical information technology, integrated telecommunications, and soldier survival solutions and services, has successfully completed a Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) A appraisal, and has once again received a Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI®) Maturity Level 2 (ML2) rating.

CMMI is a framework of best practices for managing, measuring, and monitoring business processes across an organization. By providing guidance that enables companies to develop or improve their processes, CMMI helps organizations meet their business goals, and ultimately improve their performance. Tribalco gained its initial CMMI ML2 rating in 2009 and has retained that rating throughout the required triennial renewal appraisals.

The appraisal, performed by a CMMI Institute-Certified Lead Appraiser, involved an extensive evaluation of Tribalco’s company-wide project performance and the processes it uses to address customer needs. Tribalco’s successful renewal of its CMMI ML2 rating indicates that the company continues to execute its processes consistently across its offices worldwide and that those processes are being applied by all employees on all projects.

In addition to being CMMI appraised, Tribalco is ISO 9001:2008 certified.
